Jones-Galati wed

Lora Elizabeth Jones and Guiseppe "Joe" Galati were united in marriage on June 14, 2003, at St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church in Perryville. The Rev. Kevin Fausz, CM, officiated at the 2 p.m. double-ring ceremony. The bride was given in marriage by her parents.

The bride is the daughter of Larry and Kathy Jones of Bloomfield. The bridegroom is the son of Salvatore and Vita Galati of Perryville.

Maid of honor was Sara Jones. Bridesmaids were Fara Pizzo, Stephanie Galati, Emily Gisi, Angela Lynch, Melanie Chisam, and Katy Deardorff. Flower girls were Courtney Moreno and Jessica Moline.

Best man was Vincenzo Galati. Groomsmen were Joe Pizzo, Kyle Jones, J.B. Patti, Joe Patti, Brent Lindsley, and Jonathan Clements. Ringbearers were Gabriele Galati and Dylon Moline.

A rehearsal dinner, hosted by the couples' parents, was held at Galati's Italian Ristorante in Perryville.

Following the ceremony, a reception and dance were held at the Drury Lodge in Cape Girardeau.

After a honeymoon in Mexico's Mayan Riviera, the couple made their home in Knoxville, Tenn.

The bride is a 1997 graduate of Bloomfield High School, a 2001 graduate of Southeast Missouri State University, and a 2003 graduate of St. Louis University. She has a Master's Degree in Social Work. She is currently employed as a psychiatric social worker at Lakeshore Mental Health Institute in Knoxville.

The bridegroom is a 1997 graduate of St. Vincent High School in Perryville, and a 2001 graduate of Southeast Missouri State University. He is a registered nurse who is currently in the Nurse Anesthesia graduate program at the University of Tennessee in Knoxville. He is scheduled to graduate in August of 2005.
