Mrs. Woodruff was a member of the New Testament General Baptist Church at Burton, Mich., a homemaker and resident of Dexter.
She was united in marriage to Norman Woodruff on June 30, 1955, at Flint, Mich., and he preceded her in death on Aug. 29, 1993.
Survivors include one son, Rev. Lester Clayton of Dexter; two grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
Besides her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by one daughter, Betty Clayton; two brothers, Epter Walton McElrath and Charlie Clifford McElrath; and two sisters, Elaine Ogden and Aretta Hopkins.
Visitation was held from 1-2 p.m. Friday, Jan. 2, 2004, at the Rainey-Mathis Funeral Home in Dexter.
Funeral services were conducted at 2 p.m. in the Rainey-Mathis Funeral Chapel with Rev. Mac Williams officiating.
Graveside services will be conducted at 1 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 3, 2004, in the Ballews Cemetery at Grubbs, Ark.
