Virginia Rose Finn, 82, of Bloomfield, was born March 18, 1921, at Williamsville, the daughter of the late Roy Haynie, Sr., and Pearl McGee and died Friday, Jan. 2, 2004, at the Advance Nursing Center.

She was a homemaker and a member of the Care Spring Baptist Church of St. Peters.

She and Alvin Finn were united in marriage on July 27, 1940, at Kennett, and he preceded her in death.

Survivors include three sons, James A. Finn of Ellsinore, Ronald M. Finn of Marble Hill, and John T. Finn of DeSoto; one daughter, Jeanne Handley of New Johnson, Tenn.; three brothers, Roy Haynie, Jr., and Mack Haynie, both of Advance, and James Haynie of Alpharetta, Ga.; one sister, Dorothy Hill of Hazelwood; 11 grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.

Three brothers preceded her in death.

Visitation will be held from 5-8 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 3, 2004, at Morgan Funeral Home in Advance.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 4, 2004, at Morgan Funeral Home in Advance with Rev. Bill Sargent officiating.

Interment will follow at McGee New Hope Cemetery.
