Emma D. Pittman, 75, of Dexter was born Oct. 8, 1928, at Greenbrier, the daughter of the late Henry and Evie Borders Jones, died Wednesday, Dec. 31, 2003, at the Missouri Southern Healthcare in Dexter.
She was a homemaker.
In 1942, she and Leon Pittman were united in marriage, and he preceded her in death on Aug. 15, 1958.
Survivors include three sons, Douglas Pittman of Brownwood, Larry Pittman of Dexter and Jerry Pittman of Marble Hill; one daughter, Carolyn Moody of Zalma; one brother, Carl Jones, Jr. of Marble Hill; one sister, Ruth Hill of Redfern, Kan.; 11 grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
She was preceded in death by two grandsons, two daughters, and one son.
Visitation was held from 5-8 p.m. Friday, Jan. 2, 2004, at Morgan Funeral Home in Advance.
Funeral services were held at 11 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 3, 2004, at Morgan Funeral Home in Advance with Rev. Rudy Pittman and Rev. Eldo Eaker officiating.
Interment followed in Morgan Memorial Park in Advance.
