Rickey Gene Blocker, the son of Virginia Sexton Blocker and the late Lloyd Blocker, was born in St. Louis on Oct. 15, 1946, and died at his home in Parma on Saturday, Jan. 3, 2004, at the age of 57.

Mr. Blocker had lived in St. Louis for many years and was retired from the Pacesetter Corporation where he worked in the Sales Department. He moved to Parma one year ago. He served in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War.

Surviving are many relatives and friends.

Graveside services will be held at 1:15 p.m. Friday, Jan. 9, 2004, at the Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery in St. Louis with the Jefferson Barracks chaplain of St. Louis officiating.

Interment will follow in the Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery in St. Louis with full military honors provided by the Missouri Military Honor Guard of Jefferson Barracks.
