Mrs. Cryts was a member of the Liberty Hill General Baptist Church at Aid, a member of the Aid Extension Homemakers, a former clerk at Wal-Mart and a resident of Dexter.
She was united in marriage to Fred P. Cryts on Dec. 5, 1932, at Dexter. Mr. Cryts preceded her in death on Oct. 15, 1967.
Survivors include three sons, Jerry Dean Cryts of Bernie, Billy Glen Cryts of Orwigsburg, Pa., and Larry Fred Cryts of Covington, Texas; one daughter, Doris Jean Jackson of Dexter; 10 grandchildren; and 28 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.
Besides her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by one grandson Keith Jackson and one sister, Hazel Martin.
Visitation was held from 1-2 p.m. today, Tuesday, Jan. 6, 2004, at the Rainey-Mathis Funeral Home in Dexter.
Funeral services were then conducted at 2 p.m., Tuesday, Jan. 6, 2004, in the Rainey-Mathis Funeral Chapel with Rev. Frank Baine officiating.
Interment followed in the Sadler Chapel Cemetery near Dexter.
