He had lived his entire life in the Parma area. He was a member of the Parma First Baptist Church and was a retired welder for the railroad.
On July 11, 1950, he was married to Wilma Cole at New Madrid.
Surviving are his wife, Wilma Durham of Parma; three sons, David Wayne Durham of Parma, Mark Wade Durham of Malden, and Christopher Scott Durham of Campbell; one daughter, Sheri Lee Stewart of Douglas, Ga.; two brothers, Donald and Kenneth Durham, both of Bernie; four sisters, Mae Baldwin of Fenton, Jenny Parmly of Ditmer, Mildred Adams of Las Vegas, Nev., and Mary Lou Giddings of Dexter; eight grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
Visitation will be held from 12:30-2 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 11, 2004, at Parma First Baptist Church.
Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 11, 2004, at Parma First Baptist Church with Rev. John Girdley of Parma officiating.
Interment will follow in the Durham Family Cemetery near Campbell with Watkins & Sons Funeral Service of Parma in charge of arrangements.
