Mr. Grim was a member of the South Van Buren General Baptist Church at Van Buren, a former 30-year employee of General Motors at Pontiac, Mich., a former resident of Oakland, Mich., and Dexter, currently residing at Van Buren, and a veteran of the United States Army.
He was united in marriage to Doris DeArman on Dec. 31, 1955, at Hernando, Miss. Mrs. Grim survives of the home at Van Buren.
Besides his wife, he is survived by two daughters, Nancy Grim and Lisa Hart, both of Van Buren; four sisters, Opal Wyatt of Chaffee, Flora White, Louise Johnson and Pansy Woodruff, all of Dexter; and one granddaughter.
Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers and two sisters.
Visitation was held from 5-8 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 18, 2004, at the Rainey-Mathis Funeral Home in Dexter.
Funeral services were conducted at 1 p.m. Monday, Jan. 19, 2004, in the Rainey-Mathis Funeral Chapel with Rev. Lonnie Clubb officiating.
Interment followed in the Dexter Cemetery.
