Wilson C. Boyd, 91, of Marble Hill, was born Nov. 17, 1912, at Rock View, the son of the late Bill and Ezella Prosser Boyd and died Jan. 27, 2004, at the Lutheran Home in Cape Girardeau.

He retired from Ford Motor Company after 39 years as Production Manager. He was a member of the First Baptist Church of Advance, where he was a deacon and Sunday School superintendent. He was also a member of the Memphis, Tenn., Masonic Lodge.

He and Helen Winchester were united in marriage on May 12, 1934, at Marble Hill, and she survives of the home.

Other survivors include one son, Bill Boyd of Marble Hill; two daughters, Shirley Fendelet of Marble Hill and Betty Zyla of Dandridge, Tenn.; four grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.

Two brothers and one sister preceded him in death.

Visitation will be held from 5-8 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 28, 2004, at Morgan Funeral Home in Advance.

Funeral services will be conducted at 1 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 29, 2004, at First Baptist Church in Advance with Rev. Don Stephens officiating.

Interment will follow at Morgan Memorial Park in Advance.
