Mrs. Crisel had lived in Puxico most of her life. She had worked as a hairdresser, a teacher, and had worked for 17 years in area post offices, and served as postmaster in Sturdivant. She was a member of Puxico First Baptist Church. She was a 1960 graduate of Puxico High School and a 1992 graduate of Southeast Missouri State University.
On Feb. 3, 1962, she was married to Jerry Crisel in Ash Hill.
Surviving are her husband, Jerry Crisel of Puxico; two sons, Mike Crisel of Thompsonville, Ill., and Steven Crisel of Puxico; one granddaughter; and three sisters, Sue Elledge of Wappapello, Glenda Riggins of Cape Girardeau, and Kay Vester of Poplar Bluff.
Visitation will be held after 5 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 28, 2004, at the Watkins & Sons Funeral Home in Puxico.
Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 29, 2004, in the First Baptist Church in Puxico with the Rev. Buzz Brown and the Rev. Wiley McGhee, both of Puxico, officiating.
Interment will follow in the Puxico Cemetery with Watkins & Sons Funeral Service of Puxico in charge of arrangements.
