Iva B. White, daughter of the late John and Nancy Robey Layton, was born at Bloomfield on Dec. 19, 1910, and died at Beverly Healthcare in Bloomfield on Tuesday, Jan. 27, 2004, at the age of 93.

Mrs. White spent all her life in the Bloomfield community. She attended Link Grade School and Link Church and Mt. Pisgah General Baptist Church in Aquilla.

She was first married to Patrick Jones, and he preceded her in death. She later married Auvie White, and he preceded her in death.

Survivors include a daughter, Nola Anderson of Bloomfield; eight grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; and 18 great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by one daughter; seven brothers, and sisters.

Visitation will be held from 5-8 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 29, 2004, at the Chiles-Cooper Funeral Home in Bloomfield.

Funeral services will be conducted at 1 p.m. Friday, Jan. 30, 2004, at the Chiles-Cooper Funeral Home in Bloomfield with Rev. Bob Holland officiating.

Interment will follow in the North Antioch Cemetery near Bloomfield.
