Betty Burnett Gott Grubbs, daughter of David A. Burnett and Gean Smith Burnett, was born on March 18, 1961, at Yuma, Ariz., and died on Wednesday, Jan. 28, 2004, at her residence in Dexter at the age of 42.

She was a member of the Sweet Prospect General Baptist Church at Dexter, the owner of The Home Shoppe in Dexter and a resident of Dexter.

Besides her parents, she is survived by her husband, Keith Grubbs of the home in Dexter; two sons, Bradley Eugene Gott and Aaron Michael Gott, both of Dexter; one daughter, Jeanie Nicole Gott of Dexter; one step-son, Keith Grubbs, Jr. of Dexter; one step-daughter, Kendra Grubbs of Mt. Pleasant, Texas; three brothers, David Allen Burnett of Farmington, Bobby Burnett and Gary Burnett, both of Dexter; and one sister, Sharon Henderson of Manila, Ark.

Visitation will be held from 5-8 p.m. Friday, Jan. 30, 2004, at the Rainey-Mathis Funeral Home in Dexter.

Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 31, 2004, in the Rainey-Mathis Funeral Chapel with Rev. Dean Williams officiating.

Interment will follow in the Dexter Cemetery.
