Binford-Jenkins exchange vows

Tiffany Nicole Binford and Jason Owen Jenkins were united in marriage in a double ring ceremony held on Nov. 8, 2003. The ceremony was held at the First Baptist Church in Puxico with John Buttry officiating.

The bride is the daughter of Ray and Margaret Binford of Puxico and the bridegroom is the son of Owen and Sherry Jenkins of Qulin

The bride was escorted and given away by her father. Her maid of honor was Brandi McLean of Puxico. Bridal attendants included Rita Collier of Jackson and Bobbi Jo Fisher and Amanda Miller, both of Puxico. The flower girl was Alissa Merritt of Qulin, cousin of the bridegroom.

The best man was Gerald Yeley of Qulin, cousin of the bridegroom. Adam Brown and Dustin Dunning, both of Broseley, and Derek Binford of Puxico, brother of the bride, were groomsmen. Joseph Northern of Bloomfield, cousin of the bride, was the usher.

Bailey McLean of Puxico was the ringbearer.

Soloists were JoAnne Northern of Bloomfield, cousin of the bride, and Jeff Copeland of Puxico. The musical selections were "Then They Do" by Trace Adkins and "Grow Old With Me" by Mary Chapin Carpenter.

The guest book attendant was Crystal Hitt of Bloomfield, cousin of the bride.

Marla Townsend and Fayette Moss assisted with the reception held at Aad Grotto in Poplar Bluff.

The bride graduated from Puxico High School in May, 2000, received her bachelor's degree from Southeast Missouri State University in December, 2003.

The bridegroom graduated from Twin Rivers High School in May, 2001. He is employed with J.W. Githens Co. and is a self-employed taxidermist.

The couple plan to reside in Poplar Bluff.
