James L. Pepper, a resident of Bloomfield, died on Sunday, Feb. 1, 2004, at the John J. Pershing V.A. Medical Center in Poplar Bluff at the age of 86.

Funeral arrangements are incomplete at this time and will be announced later by the Rainey-Mathis Funeral Home in Dexter.
