Mr. Hall had lived all of his life in Tallapoosa and New Madrid. He was a retired farm laborer. He was a member of the V.F.W. and was a veteran of the U.S. Army. He served in New Guinea, the Philippines Liberation and Luzon. He was awarded three bronze stars.
Surviving are one brother, William Lee Hall of Pontiac, Mich.; and one sister, Marie Caudle of Oran.
Visitation will be held from 9-11 a.m. Monday, Feb. 23, 2004, at the Watkins & Sons Funeral Home in Parma.
Funeral services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Monday, Feb. 23, 2004, in the Watkins & Sons Chapel in Parma.
Interment will follow in the Mounds Cemetery near Lilbourn with the American Legion Post #595 Honor Guard of New Madrid in charge of full military honors at the graveside.
