Mr. Dunning attended the First Pentecostal Church at Dexter, was a former construction worker, a veteran of the United States Air Force and a resident of Dexter.
He was united in marriage to Betty S. McMillion on Dec. 8, 1951, at Pocahontas, Ark. Mrs. Dunning survives of the home.
Besides his wife, survivors include one daughter, Sandi Walker of Dexter; two sisters, Gladys Farmer and Betty Parker, both of Dexter; two grandchildren, Kyle Walker of Dexter and Alison Walker of Staunton, Va.; and three great-grandchildren, Paige Bolin, Breannna Walker and Lainey Walker.
Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by one half-brother, Monroe Dunning.
Graveside services will be conducted at 1 p.m. Friday, March 5, 2004, at the Missouri Veterans Cemetery at Bloomfield with Rev. Robert Bentley officiating.
