Joe Walton Dudley, son of the late Russell "Chic" Dudley and Cassie Walton Dudley, was born on April 22, 1940, at Braggadocio and died at his residence in Steele on Sunday, March 7, 2004, at the age of 63.

Mr. Dudley was an insurance adjuster for Shield of Shelter and a former resident of Dexter.

Survivors include two sons, James and Jeff Dudley, both of Dexter; one daughter, Anita Rogers of St. Louis; two brothers, Noel Dudley of Braggadocio and Russell Dudley of Trenton, N.J.; two sisters, Nona McDaniel of Collinsville, Ill., and Cassie Johnson of Caruthersville; and five grandchildren.

Visitation will be held from 3:30-5 p.m. Wednesday, March 10, 2004, at the Rainey-Mathis Funeral Home in Dexter.

Memorial service will be conducted at 5 p.m. Wednesday, March 10, 2004, in the Rainey-Mathis Funeral Chapel in Dexter with Rev. Frank Bain officiating.
