Dallas (Bud) Pruitt, son of the late Oscar and Myrtle Pruitt, a resident of Santa Barbara, Calif., and a former resident of Missouri, died on Feb. 22, 2004, after a long battle with many serious illnesses.

Survivors include his wife of 31 years, Patricia; his step-son, Terry Power; five children, Anita Sheridan, Chris Pruitt, Robin Tilleman, Liz Horrex, and Craig Pruitt; two brothers, Farrell Pruitt of Pleasanton, Calif., and Clell Pruitt of Park Hills; and one sister, Geraldine Ridenhower of Marion, Ill; and 10 grandchildren.

Visitation was held from 1-5 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 26, 2004, at Welch-Ryce-Haider Funeral Home, 15 E. Sola Street, Santa Barbara, Calif.

There was a family burial Friday, Feb. 27, 2004, followed by a memorial at 11 a.m. at the First Presbyterian Church, 21 E. Constance Avenue.
