Zelda D. Mohrstadt

Zelda Doral Mohrstadt, 88, of Warrenton, formerly of Advance, was born July 5, 1915, in Advance, the daughter of the late Edward and Alma Galloway Zimmer, and died Sunday, March 14, 2004, at St. Joseph Hospital West in Lake St. Louis.

She was a homemaker and a member of the Advance Methodist Church, the Extension Homemakers Association, Women's Study Club, and the Eastern Star, all of Advance. She was a former librarian in the Advance Public Library during the 1950's.

She and Adolph C. Mohrstadt were united in marriage on Feb. 7, 1938, in Arkansas, and he preceded her in death on June 6, 1988.

Survivors include one daughter, Martha Bowen of Warrenton; two grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.

She was also preceded in death by one sister, Nadine.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, March 18, 2004, at Morgan Funeral Home in Advance with Rev. Tom Zych officiating.

Interment will follow in Morgan Memorial Park in Advance.
