Robert C. Buck, Jr., 74, of Naples, Fla., and Flint, Mich., died Thursday, March 11, 2004, in Naples, Fla.

He had been a resident since the mid-80's coming from Cleveland, Ohio.

He served in the U.S. Army Air Corp 1950-1953. He was graduated from John Marshall School of Law and then became a longtime partner in the law firm of Quant, Giffles, Buck and Rodgers in Cleveland, Ohio. He was a former member of the Columbia Hills Country Club and was a member of both the Flint Golf Club of Flint, Mich., and the Royal Palm Golf Club of Naples, Fla.

He is survived by his wife, Diane Burgett-Buck of Naples, Fla.; three sons, Michael (Natalie) Buck of Strongsville, Ohio, Jeffrey (Lisa) Buck of Indianapolis, Ind., and Robert Buck of Chippewa Lake, Ohio; a step-daughter, Maggie (Dale) Wright of Linden, Mich.; four grandchildren, Christine, Lauren, Matthew, and Ethan; four step-grandchildren, Jason, Paige, Molly and Noah; and his mother-in-law, Nathalie Walrath.

He was preceded in death by his first wife, Gwen, in 1996.

Funeral services will be private.

A celebration of his life will be held later at Royal Palm Golf Club in Naples, Fla.
