Imogene B. Glass

Imogene B. Glass, daughter of the late Joseph Walker Henry and Bertha Ola Burton Henry, was born on Aug. 29, 1920, in Jonesboro, Ark., and died in the Beverly Health and Rehabilitation Center in Dexter on Tuesday, March 16, 2004, at the age of 83.

Mrs. Glass was a homemaker, a member of the Bernie Missionary Alliance Church and a resident of Bernie.

She was united in marriage to Dawsey Richard Glass on Dec. 15, 1937, at Bloomfield, and he survives of the home in Bernie.

Survivors include one son, Carlyn Glass of Knoxville, Tenn.; one sister, Lois Robinson of Wichita, Kan.; nine grandchildren; and several great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.

Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by two sons, Richard Glass and Joe Glass; one brother; and one sister.

Visitation will be held from 5-8 p.m. Wednesday, March 17, 2004, at the Rainey-Mathis Funeral Home in Bernie.

Funeral services will be conducted at 1 p.m. Thursday, March 18, 2004, with Rev. Cletus Patterson officiating.

Interment will follow in the Bernie Cemetery.
