Pearl Hill, daughter of the late Peter Parrish and Mable Fannie Hargrove Parrish, was born on July 12, 1906, at Puxico and died in the Missouri Southern Healthcare at Dexter on Friday, March 19, 2004, at the age of 97.

Mrs. Hill was a member of Sadler Chapel Methodist Church at Dexter, a homemaker and resident of Dexter.

She was united in marriage to Ray Hill on Oct. 21, 1928, at Dexter. Mr. Hill preceded her in death on Aug. 23, 1977.

Survivors include two sons, Robert R. Hill of St. Peters and Charles Dean Hill of Stanchfield, Minn.; two sisters, Ann King of Jonesboro, Ark., and Gladys Roper of Kennett; eight grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.

Besides her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by three brothers and three sisters.

Visitation was held from 4-8 p.m. Sunday, March 21, 2004, at the Rainey-Mathis Funeral Home in Dexter.

Funeral services were conducted at 11 a.m. Monday, March 22, 2004, in the Rainey-Mathis Funeral Chapel in Dexter with Rev. Linda Zych officiating.

Interment followed in the Sadler Chapel Cemetery.
