Rosie Marie Walker, daughter of Robert David Blackburn and Mary E. Blackburn, was born on June 9, 1906, at Paducah, Ky., and died in Heartstone Nursing Facility in Medford, Ore., on Thursday, April 1, 2004.

She was married to Vernie Spencer Walker on July 22, 1922, and he preceded her in death on June 20, 1967. To this union, nine children were born. Two children preceded her in death; Margie Lee Jackson and Jackie Dewayne Walker.

Other survivors include seven children: Margaret Cravens of Dexter, Mardell Qualls of Central Point, Ore., Vern J. Walker of Granite City, Ill., Bill Walker of Central Point, Ore., Martha Patton of Haleyville, Ala., Jimmy Don Walker of Live Oak, Fla., and Sharon Fay Hershey of Margate, Fla.; 28 grandchildren; 40 great-grandchildren; and 22 great-great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at Abby Funeral Home in Medord, Ore., on April 6, 2004.
