She was a sales clerk at Stix, Baer & Fuller (now Dillards) retiring in 1973. She was a member of the Wentzville United Methodist Church and the Lydia Circle at the church.
Survivors include two daughters, Mary Lee King and Glenda L. Wright, both of Wentzville; one sister, Helen Jean Smock of St. Louis; six grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and nine great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, William Ward and Ida Ward; her husband, Clyde Jones; two brothers, William Ward and James Ward; and four sisters, Bernice Waters, Bess Holderness, Betty Aslin and Esta Ward.
Visitation will be held from 4-7 p.m. today, Wednesday, April 7, 2004, at Pitman Funeral Home , 909 Pitman Avenue., Wentzville.
Funeral services will be conducted at 7 p.m. April 7, 2004, at the Pitman Funeral Home with Rev. Jeff Carr officiating.
Interment will follow in Bloomfield Cemetery.
