Sue Snider

Sue Snider, daughter of the late Oscar Crews and Fleeta Scott Crews, was born on Oct. 5, 1942, at Rives and died in Scott City on Thursday, April 8, 2004, at the age of 61.

Mrs. Snider was a member of the Clines Island General Baptist Church, an aide at the Bloomfield Alternative School, and a resident of Bloomfield.

She was united in marriage to Norman Snider on Nov. 8, 1961, in Bloomfield, and he survives of the home in Bloomfield.

Besides her husband, survivors include three sons, Jeff Snider of Dexter, Keith Snider of Bernie, and Jeremy Snider of Cape Girardeau; six brothers, Glen Crews of Scott City, Lynn Crews of Ft. Worth, Texas, Elwood Crews of Gloster, Miss., Jay Crews of Gobler, Kenny Crews of Hillsboro, and Lonnie Crews of Scott City; three sisters, Virginia Lowery and Barbara Clark, both of Scott City, and Eunice Anderson of Christopher, Ill.; and six grandchildren.

Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers, Berley Crews and Ronald Crews; and one sister, Melba Crews.

Visitation will be held from 5-8 p.m. Friday, April 9, 2004, at the Rainey-Mathis Funeral Home in Dexter.

Funeral services will be conducted at 1 p.m. Saturday, April 10, 2004, in the Rainey-Mathis Funeral Chapel in Dexter with Rev. Ronnie Ledbetter officiating.

Interment will follow in the Dexter Cemetery.

Memorials may be made to V.N.A. Hospice.
