Mrs. Taylor was a member of the Dexter Evangelical Free Church, active in the Dexter Civic Club, and a resident of Dexter.
She was united in marriage to William "Howard" Taylor on Nov. 20, 1941, in Dexter. Mr. Taylor preceded her in death on Oct. 1, 1991.
Survivors include one son and daughter-in-law, Dr. Philip and Helen Taylor of Cape Girardeau; one daughter and son-in-law, Toni and Darrel Pyle of Dexter; six grandchildren, Hilary Pyle, Taylor Pyle, and Caitlin Pyle, all of Dexter, Sally Powell, Bonnie Taylor, and Jennifer Taylor, all of Columbia; two great-grandchildren, Hannah Powell and Sarah Powell, both of Columbia.
Visitation will be held from 1-3 p.m. Sunday, April 11, 2004, at the Rainey-Mathis Funeral Home in Dexter.
Funeral services will be conducted at 3 p.m. Sunday, April 11, 2004, in the Rainey-Mathis Funeral Chapel in Dexter with Rev. Fred Leist officiating.
Interment will follow in the Dexter Cemetery.
Memorials may be made to Stoddard County Children's Home or Dexter Public Library.
