Freda Morgan, the daughter of the late Taylor and Lucy Bell Marcum Jones, was born in Parma on Nov. 28, 1927, and died at the St. Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau on Monday, April 12, 2004, at the age of 76.

Mrs. Morgan had lived in Parma most of her life. She was a member of the Church of Christ in Parma.

On Aug. 31, 1946, she was married to R.H. Morgan in New Madrid.

Surviving are her husband, R.H. Morgan of Parma; one son, James Morgan of Parma; two grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and one brother, Shelby Jones of Parma.

She was preceded in death by one sister, Cecelia Jones; seven brothers, Nathan, Clarence, Coy, Hue, Richard, James and Junior Jones.

Visitation will be held at 9:30 a.m. Wednesday, April 14, 2004, at the Watkins & Sons Funeral Home in Parma.

Graveside funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday, April 14, 2004, in the Malden Memorial Park Cemetery with Bro. Carl Mills officiating.

Interment will follow in the Malden Memorial Park Cemetery with Watkins & Sons Funeral Service of Parma in charge of arrangements.
