He was employed with Good Humor Breyers Ice Cream Company at Sikeston, was a former employee of Golden Cat near Bloomfield, and a resident of rural Bloomfield.
Survivors include his mother, Connie Anthony and her fiance Ricky Johnson of Dexter; his father and step-mother, Rick and Connie Anthony of Bloomfield; one brother, Darek Wayne Anthony of Bloomfield; two sisters, Heather Marie Anthony of Dexter and Tara D. Anthony of Bloomfield; one step-sister, Lynette Smith of Greenville, Miss.; his maternal grandparents, Wayne and Conetha Waltrip of Bernie; his paternal grandmother, Margie Anthony of Dexter; and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather, Rex Anthony, Jr., and his uncle, Timmy Lee Anthony.
Visitation will be held from 5-8 p.m. Thursday, April 15, 2004, at the Rainey-Mathis Funeral Home in Dexter.
Funeral services will be conducted at 10 a.m. Friday, April 16, 2004, in the Rainey-Mathis Funeral Chapel with Rev. Ron Dunavin officiating.
Interment will follow in the Hagy Cemetery.
