Goldie Lorene Hill

Goldie Lorene Hill, daughter of the late James Hutchcraft and Laura Majors Hutchcraft, was born on Sept. 10, 1910, in Carmi, Ill., and died at her residence in Bloomfield on Sunday, April 18, 2004, at the age of 93.

Mrs. Hill was a former employee with Elder Manufacturing in Dexter for 27 years, co-owner of the Circle Drive-In at Bloomfield, and a member of the Hill Church in Bloomfield.

On Aug. 15, 1931, she was united in marriage to Verlin Hill in Dexter. Mr. Hill preceded her in death on April 2, 1993.

Besides her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by one son, Verlin Hill, Jr.; two sisters, Virginia Rose and Dulcie Sutherland.

Visitation will be held from 5-8 p.m. Tuesday, April 20, 2004, at the Rainey-Mathis Funeral Home in Dexter.

Funeral services will be conducted in the Rainey-Mathis Funeral Chapel in Dexter at 1 p.m. Wednesday, April 21, 2004, with Rev. Robert Lafferty officiating.

Interment will follow in the Hill Cemetery at Bloomfield.
