Mr. Corbin had spent all his life in the Bloomfield community. He was a member of the St. Joe General Baptist Church in Idalia and a veteran of the U.S. Army. He worked for Elder Manufacturing Company for several years but the last few years was a maintenance man for McDonald's at Dexter.
On June 27, 1969, he was married to Carolyn Wilburn.
Survivors include his wife, Carolyn, of the home in Bloomfield; two sons, Jonathan and Adam Corbin, both of Bloomfield; one daughter, Amy Corbin of Bloomfield; one brother, Sherrill Corbin of Dexter; two sisters, Sharon Wilburn of Kilgore, Texas, and Barbara Razor of Tallapoosee; and three grandchildren.
Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by one grandchild.
Visitation will be held from 5-8 p.m. Tuesday, April 20, 2004, at the Chiles-Cooper Funeral Home in Bloomfield.
Funeral services will be conducted at 1 p.m. Wednesday, April 21, 2004, at the Chiles-Cooper Funeral Home in Bloomfield with Rev. Don Cooper officiating.
Interment will follow in the Missouri Veterans Cemetery at Bloomfield.
