Lawanda Keeling, daughter of the late Elmer Wilson and Elsie Wilcoxson Wilson, was born on Oct. 6, 1941, at Peach Orchard and died in the Missouri Delta Medical Center at Sikeston on Tuesday, April 20, 2004, at the age of 62.

Mrs. Keeling was a former employee of the International Hat Factory in Dexter and a resident of Dexter.

Survivors include three daughters, Kimberly Hoskins of Morehouse, Tonya Anthony and Melissa Keeling, both of Dexter; four brothers, Bobby and Larry Wilson, both of Sikeston, Rayburn and Charles Wilson, both of Morehouse; also five grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by one daughter at birth, Makalaha Keeling; and one sister, Shirley Bierman.

Visitation will be held from 5-8 p.m. Thursday, April 22, 2004, at Rainey-Mathis Funeral Home in Dexter.

Funeral services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Friday, April 23, 2004, at the Rainey-Mathis Funeral Home in Dexter with Rev. Larry Davis officiating.

Interment will follow in the Hagy Cemetery at Dexter.
