Duane Huston, son of the late Robert Huston and Shirley Shephard Huston, was born on Feb. 20, 1959, at Rock Island, Ill., and died at the Missouri Southern Healthcare in Dexter on Monday, May 3, 2004, at the age of 45.

Mr. Huston was a former police officer with the Lilbourn Police Department, a former truck driver for Gibbs Transportation in Bloomfield, a member of the A.R.K. of Hope Church in Dexter, and a volunteer fireman with the Bloomfield Fire Department.

On July 1, 1998, he was united in marriage to Patricia "Tonnee" Schroeder at Piggott, Ark. Mrs. Huston survives of the home in Bloomfield.

Besides his wife, survivors include one brother, Doug Huston of Winder, Ga.; and one sister, Diane Schoon of Winder, Ga.

A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday, May 6, 2004, in the A.R.K. of Hope Church on Highway 60 East in Dexter with Rev. David Hardin officiating.
