Jeffrey Floyd Crawford, son of Helen Beaird Crawford of Gideon and the late Otis Crawford, was born Feb. 5, 1967, in Hayti, and died Thursday, May 20, 2004, at his residence in Malden at the age of 37.

He was united in marriage on March 10, 1989 to Nichelle Crawford in Oklahoma City, Okla., and she survives of the home.

Other survivors include his wife, Nichelle Crawford of Malden; four daughters, Caitlin Crawford, Bayleigh Crawford, and Kearstyn Crawford, all of the home, and Michelle Matthews of Oklahoma City, Okla.; his mother, Ruth Crawford of Gideon; two brothers, Joel Ray Bell of Russellville and Dale Alan Crawford of Kennett; four sisters, Phyliss Ann McRill, Maria Sue Bailey, and Bonnie Gail Crawford, all of Kennett, and Brenda Walker of Dexter.

Visitation will be held after 6 p.m. Sunday, May 23, 2004, at Bradshaw Funeral Home in Malden.

Graveside funeral services will be conducted at 1 p.m. Monday, May 24, 2004, at Stanfield Cemetery with Rev. Ernie Nelson officiating.

Interment will be at Stanfield Cemetery in Clarkton with military rites.
