Hubert Dale Hudgens, Jr., son of Hubert Dale Hudgens, Sr., and Debra Bagy Hale, was born at Dexter on Dec. 14, 1975, and died in Dexter on Friday, May 21, 2004, as a result of injuries received in a home accident.

Mr. Hudgens had spent most of his life in the Dexter community. He had worked as a machine operator for Good Humor Ice Cream in Sikeston for the past four years. He was a 1994 graduate of Bloomfield High School and a graduate of Lynn Tech College.

On Nov. 22, 2002, he was married to Nikki Scapino.

Survivors include his wife, Nikki, of the home in Bloomfield; five daughters, Taylor and Brittney Noles, Kaitlynn, Keristynn and Ashland Hudgens, all of the home in Bloomfield; his father, Hubert Hudgens, Sr., of Bloomfield; his mother and step-father, Debra and Cecil Hale of Bloomfield; one sister, Charlotte Phillips of Bloomfield; and three step-sisters.

Visitation was held from 5-8 p.m. Saturday, May 22, 2004, at the Chiles-Cooper Funeral Home in Bloomfield.

Funeral services were conducted at 2 p.m. Sunday, May 23, 2004, at the Chiles-Cooper Funeral Home in Bloomfield with Rev. Dan Sitz officiating.

Interment followed in the Bloomfield Cemetery.
