Gracie Marie Mitchell, daughter of William Mitchell of Richwoods and the late Beulah Choate Mitchell, was born on July 20, 1954, at St. Louis and died in her residence at Dexter on Thursday, June 3, 2004, at the age of 49.

She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Dexter, an employee of the Dexter Burger King, involved with the activities of the Stoddard County A.R.C., and a resident of Dexter.

Survivors include her father, William Mitchell of Richwoods; two brothers, Billy Mitchell and Ronald Mitchell, both of Richwoods; and four sisters, Wilma Bourisaw of Potosi, Wanda Mitchell of St. Louis, Linda Mitchell of Old Mines, and Shirley Mitchell.

Visitation will be held from 5-8 p.m. Friday, June 4, 2004, at the Rainey-Mathis Funeral Home in Dexter.

Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Saturday, June 5, 2004, in the Rainey-Mathis Funeral Chapel with Rev. Kevin Chenoweth officiating.

Interment will follow in the Hagy Cemetery.
