Edward F. Hoffman

Edward F. Hoffman, Hyannis, Mass., was born Aug. 7, 1910, and died Monday, June 7, 2004, at Cape Cod Hospital at the age of 93.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Marie Elizabeth Joeckel, on Oct. 28, 1967.

In 1969 Mr. Hoffmann moved to Boston, Mass. In 1982, Mr. Hoffmann was one of the first residents at Village at the Fawcett's Pond, Hyannis, Mass., on Cape Cod. He was a life long member of the Lutheran Church, and at his death a member of First Lutheran Church, West Barnstable, Mass.

Other survivors include four daughters: Lois Boemer of Boston, Mass., Joann Steinbrueck of Dexter, Ruth Koenig of Livermore, Colo., and Carol Hoffmann of Hyannis, Mass.; 12 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; one brother, Ernest Hoffmann of Tyler, Texas; two sisters, Dorothy Brown of Valparaiso, Ind., and Millie Heitner-Steiner of Mason, Ohio.

Visitation will be held at Baumann Colonial Chapel, 2504 Woodson Road, Overland, from 5-8 p.m. Tuesday, June 15, 2004.

Funeral services will be conducted at the Baumann Colonial Chapel on Wednesday, June 16, 2004, at 10 a.m.

Interment will follow at the Lake St. Charles Cemetery, St. Charles Rock Road, St. Louis, with Baumann Colonial Chapel of St. Louis in charge of arrangement. The Rev. Wayne Koenig of Livermore, Colo., will officiate.
