Vincent A. Steimel, son of the late John A. Steimel and Mary Liekhous Steimel, was born Nov. 29, 1912, at Greeley, Neb., and died in the Mulberry Manor at Dexter on Sunday, June 13, 2004, at the age of 91.
Mr. Steimel attended the First Baptist Church of Dexter, was a former Chemical Engineer for Dow Chemical in Midland, Mich., and a resident of Dexter.
He was united in marriage to Gladys Davis on Oct. 2, 1982, at Mesa, Ariz. Mrs. Steimel survives of the home in Dexter.
Besides his wife, survivors include three daughters, A. Joanne Seigla of Cleveland, Ohio, Sharon a. Winsauer of Bath, Mich., and Janet D. Walsh of Richboro, Penn.; five step-daughters, Glenda DeFrain of Houston, Texas, Julia Minton of Dexter, Jean Davidson of San Jose, Calif., Glee Cumbrow and Carol Smock, both of Danville, Ill.; six grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren, eight step-grandchildren, and nine step-great-grandchildren.
A private family funeral will be conducted Wednesday, June 16, 2004.
Interment will follow in the Dexter Cemetery.
