Thelma Triplett Moss, daughter of the late John and Lelia Tucker Triplett, was born April 19, 1921, at Gray Ridge and died Tuesday, June 15, 2004, at Van Buren at the age of 83.

She graduated in 1941 from Gray Ridge High School.

She was a nurse at Sikeston Hospital for 52 years.

She was married to Weldon Moss on Nov. 3, 1945, and he preceded her in death in 1974.

She is survived by one daughter, Beryl Moss Reed of Van Buren; one grandson;one granddaughters; one great-grandson; and five great-granddaughters; one brother, Charles Lloyd Triplett of Dexter; two sisters, Lillas Heacox of Sikeston and Naomi Negron of Sikeston.

Besides her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by three brothers, Marion Norman Triplett and two in infancy.

Visitation will be held at 10:30 a.m. Monday, June 21, 2004, at Nunnelee Funeral Home.

Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Monday, June 21, 2004, at Nunnelee Funeral Home.

Interment will follow at the Garden of Memories Cemetery at Sikeston.
