Eddie Samuel White, Jr.

Eddie Samuel White, Jr., the son of the late Eddie Samuel White, Sr. and emma Peterson White, was born Sept. 17, 1932, at Beulah, Miss., and died Thursday, June 17, 2004, at Poplar Bluff Regional Medical Center at the age of 71.

He was a member of Zion Grove Missionary Baptist Church in Malden.

Survivors include two sons, Danny Johnson of Carbondale, Ill., and Eddie Smith of Malden; one daughter, Delores Wilkins of Bernie; 12 grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and eight step-children.

He was preceded in death by one son, Eddie Samuel White, III; three sisters, Odessa Collins, Perry Bell Thornton, and Mary Robinson; two brothers, Otis Christmas and Alex Christmas; and his step-father, James Willis.

Visitation will be held from 9-11 a.m. Saturday, June 26, 2004, at Bradshaw Funeral Home in Malden.

Funeral services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Saturday, June 26, 2004, at Bradhsaw Chapel in Malden and officiated by Rev. Gene Perkins.

Interment will follow at Macedonia Cemetery in Malden.
