Mr. Lane was a member of the Church of God in Sikeston, a truck driver for Schneider Transport, and a resident of Sikeston.
He was united in marriage to Debby Shell on May 26, 1984, at Sikeston. Mrs. Lane survives of the home in Sikeston.
Besides his wife and mother, he is survived by one son, Bryan Lane of Evansville, Ind.; one daughter and son-in-law, Shawna and Chris Godwin of Waterloo, Ill.; one brother, Gale Lane of Sikeston; four sisters, Juanita Jones of Essex, Glenda McCollough, Judy Conner, Sue Lane, all of Dexter; and three grandchildren, Ashlie Henry, Taylor Walls, Haylie Peridore, all of Waterloo, Ill.
Visitation will be held from 5-8 p.m. Wednesday, June 23, 2004, at the Rainey-Mathis Funeral Home in Dexter.
Funeral services will be conducted at 10 a.m. Thursday, June 24, 2004, in the Rainey-Mathis Funeral Chapel in Dexter with Rev. Carl Addison and Rev. Jerry Adams officiating.
Interment will follow in the Dexter Cemetery.
