Lucy Jane Kelley

Lucy Jane Kelley, the daughter of the late Thomas and Lucy Jane Terry Pulliam, was born in Doniphan on Feb. 13, 1921, and died at the St. Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau on Sunday, June 27, 2004, at the age of 83.

Mrs. Kelley had lived in the Bloomfield and Dexter areas all of her life and was living in Dexter at this time. She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Dexter.

On June 5, 1956, she was married to Lonnie William Kelley in Jackson, Miss. He preceded her in death on Jan. 24, 1986.

Surviving are two sons, Farrel Kelley of Bloomfield and Clinton Kelley of Dexter; three daughters, Thelma Temples of Dudley, Georgia Howell of Dexter, and Margie Green of Gulf Breeze, Fla.; 11 grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; two brothers, Thomas Pulliam of Essex and George D. Pulliam of Benton, Ill.

She was preceded in death by two sisters.

Visitation will be held from 9-11 a.m. Wednesday, June 30, 2004, at Watkins & Sons Funeral Home in Dexter.

Funeral services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Wednesday, June 30, 2004, in the Watkins & Sons Chapel in Dexter with Dr. Ron Wilcoxson of Dexter officiating.

Interment will follow in the Hagy Cemetery in Dexter with Watkins & Sons Funeral Service of Dexter in charge of arrangements.
