Dennis Gordon

Dennis Gordon, the son of the late George Riley and Leoma Wells Gordon, was born in Sikeston, on Dec. 24, 1959, and died near Morehouse due to injuries received in an automobile accident Friday, July 2, 2004, at the age of 44.

Mr. Gordon had lived in Bloomfield the past six years and was a former resident of Morehouse. He was a carpenter.

Surviving are three brothers, Terry, Scott and Donald Gordon, all of Sikeston; one step-brother, George Orr of Sikeston; six step-sisters, Becky Orr, Julia Lutes, Brenda Stinnett and Patricia Carmack, all of Sikeston, Alice Conner of Poplar Bluff, and Janice McQueen of Copperas Cove, Texas.

Visitation will be held after 9 a.m. Tuesday, July 6, 2004, at the Watkins & Sons Funeral Home in Morehouse.

Graveside funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. at the New Morley Cemetery in Morley on Tuesday, July 6, 2004, with Rev. Charles Bowles of Earle, Ark., officiating.

Interment will follow in the New Morley Cemetery with Watkins & Sons Funeral Service of Morehouse in charge of arrangements.
