Ruth Pauline Marshall

Ruth Pauline Marshall, 83, of Poplar Bluff died Saturday, July 10, 2004, at Delma Gardens Care Center in Chesterfield.

Mrs. Marshall, one of 11 children, was born Sept. 10, 1920, in Frisco. She was a homemaker and member of the First United Methodist Church in Poplar Bluff, where she was a member of the Sue Messenger Circle. She was also an Altrusa Emeritus, as well as a lifetime member of the P.T.A. at Williamson Kennedy grade school.

In April 1940 she married Loren S. Marshall. He preceded her in death on Dec. 5, 1998.

Survivors include five daughters, Penney Beaudeau of Des Peres, Mary Ruth Simmer of Edgewood, Texas, Kathy Kimes of Cape Girardeau, Margaret Ann Bucklew of Mesquite, Texas, and Lora Beth White of Dallas, Texas; three sons, Victor Ray Marshall of Bridgeville, Penn., Claud Marshall of Louisville, Ky., and Stan Marshall of Vancouver, Wash.; one sister, Olive Mitchell of Houston, Texas; 16 grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.

Visitation will be held from 6-8 p.m. today, Tuesday, July 13, 2004, at Cotrell Funeral Chapel in Poplar Bluff.

Funeral services will be conducted at 10 a.m. Wednesday, July 14, 2004, at Cotrell Funeral Chapel in Poplar Bluff with Rev. Kurt Schuermann officiating.

Interment will follow in the City Cemetery.
