Jimmie Dale Parr, Sr., of Fredericktown, died on Sunday, July 25, 2004, at Parkland Health Center at the age of 70. He was born on Oct. 19, 1933, in Mississippi County, the son of the late Andy and Monica (Mathis) Parr.

He was also preceded in death by his wife, Elizabeth M. Parr; his step-father, Clyde Hutton; and two brothers, Paul and Russell Parr.

He is survived by three sons, Jimmie Dale Parr, Jr. and Louis Parr, both of Fredericktown, and Jammie Dale of St. Louis; two daughters, Christina Taylor of St. Louis and Denise Pienkowski of Festus; a brother, James Parr of Albany, Ga.; 11 grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be held from 5-9 p.m. Tuesday, July 27, 2004, at the Cozean Memorial Chapel in Farmington.

Funeral services will be conducted at the Cozean Chapel in Farmington at 1:30 p.m. on Wednesday, July 28, 2004.

Interment will follow at the Hillview Memorial Gardens Cemetery.
