Della Mae Mobley, daughter of the late Andrew and Opal Fowler Stewart, was born at Bloomfield on Dec. 7, 1944, and died at her home in Dexter on Tuesday, July 27, 2004, at the age of 59.

Mrs. Mobley was a resident of Louisiana for several years but had been a resident of Dexter since March 2003. She was married to James Mobley, and he preceded her in death on Sept. 17, 2001.

Survivors include one daughter, Sophia Stewart of Dexter; two brothers, Melvin Stewart of St. Louis and Donald Stewart of Sikeston; six sisters, Alberta Trout of Puxico, Margaret Barnes of Jefferson City, Patsy Gallamore of Beloit, Wis., Carolyn Casey of Dexter, Connie Grady of Benton, and Effie Hughes of Morehouse;

Besides her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by one sister, Iva Hale; two brothers, Olan and Marvin Stewart; and two infant brothers.

Visitation will be held from 10-11:30 Saturday, July 31, 2004, at the Chiles-Cooper Funeral Home in Bloomfield.

Funeral services will be conducted at 11:30 a.m. Saturday, July 31, 2004, at Chiles-Cooper Funeral Home in Bloomfield with Rev. Kenneth Gaines officiating.

Interment will follow in the Gravel Hill Cemetery near Bloomfield.
