The bride is the daughter of James and Susan Jarrell of Dexter and Don Christian of Bloomfield.
The bridegroom is the son of Jane Thomas of Kitzingen, Germany (formerly of Bloomfield).
Pastor Mike Arthur of Bloomfield performed the double ring ceremony. The bride was given away by her grandfather, William Nelson of Dexter.
Matron of honor was Martha Cash, friend of the bride, of Poplar Bluff. Bridesmaids were Virginia Gray of Joplin and Brenda Musick of Branson, friends of the bride.
The best man was John Bye, friend of the bridegroom, of Arab, Ala. Groomsman was Dave Fredericks, friend of the bridegroom, of Collinsville, Ill.
Ushers were Don Christian of Cape Girardeau (formerly of Bloomfield) and Robert Christian of Dexter, brothers of the bride. Ring bearer was Tyler Gray of Joplin, friend of the bride; and the flower girl was Taylor Christian, niece of the bride.
Musical selections were Because You Loved Me, Cannon in D, Wedding March, From This Moment, A Moment Like This, and At Last. Joanne Northern of Bloomfield, cousin of the bridegroom, provided the musical selections.
Assisting with the reception was Joanne Northern of Bloomfield, Leanne Lambert of Las Vegas, cousins of the bridegroom, and Freda Mae McGhee of Cape Girardeau, friend of the bride. Trisha Vandeven of Bloomfield provided decorations and catering.
The bride is a 1993 graduate of Bloomfield High School. She is a 1997 graduate of College of the Ozarks with a bachelor's degree in criminal justice and psychology. She obtained a master's degree in social work from The University of Missouri-Columbia, School of Social Work in December 2000. She is currently employed with the State of Missouri-Division of Vocational Rehabilitation.
The bridegroom is a 1993 graduate of Bloomfield High School and is currently attending St. Louis Community College-Merremac. He is employed by The Crawford Group, the parent company of Enterprise Rent A Car, as a network support analyst.
After a honeymoon in Key West, the couple will reside in St. Peters.
