The bride and bridegroom chose a beautiful outdoor setting high in the mountains of Colorado to exchange their vows. A mountain backdrop and a trio of musicians added to the sanctity of the ceremony before a few close friends and family.
Given by her father in marriage, the bride wore a chiffon empire waist gown embellished with beaded Venice lace with daisy trim and romantic flowing sleeves. She carried a bouquet of daisies with satin lace trim.
The mother of the bride served as matron of honor with Emily Britt, a close friend serving as bridesmaid.
The bridegroom was attended by Ben McDaniel of Clovis, N.M., as best man, and Rhett Cobb of Amarillo, Texas, and Nathan Cartwright of Dallas, Texas, as groomsmen. Steven Northern of Bloomfield and Michael Turner of Albuquerque, N.M., served as ushers.
The guest book was attended by Ryan D'Nae Berry, cousin of the bridegroom.
The wedding reception was held at JJ's Upstream Restaurant in Pagosa Springs on the banks of the San Juan River where the guests enjoyed a delicious buffet. Each guest was presented with a ribbon of small bells which were rung as the bride and groom left the reception.
Following a honeymoon in Colorado, the couple is making their home in Lubbock, Texas.
