"Ed" Berry
Edward Henry "Ed" Berry, Jr., was born May 9, 1945, at Cape Girardeau, the son of the late Edward Henry Berry and Gertrude Billings Berry and died Saturday, July 31, 2004, at Baptist Health in Heber Springs, Ark.

He was a veteran of the U.S. Army serving in the Vietnam War. His rank was Sergeant, Military Police in Alaska.

He was a member of First Christian Church. He graduated from Sikeston High School in 1963 and graduated from University of Missouri. He was certified as a C.P.A. in 1977.

On June 3, 1997, he and Fran Sizemore were united in marriage at Benton, and she survives of the home.

Other survivors besides his wife, Fran, include two sons, Keith Berry of Livingston, Mont., and Chris Berry of Sikeston; three step-sons, Scott Marler of Sikeston, Chris Marler of Nixa, and Matt Marler of Pittsburg, Kan.; one step-daughter, Tracy Bailey of St. Joseph; six grandchildren; and one sister, Cassandra Peterson of Las Vegas, Nev.

Visitation will be held from 4-9 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 3, 2004, at Blanchard Funeral Home, 403 N. Kingshighway, Sikeston.

A private family graveside service will be held at a later date.
