Terry Scott Montgomery, son of Hollas Montgomery of Dexter and the late Kathryn Kimbrel Montgomery, was born on Dec. 27, 1959, at Poplar Bluff and died at his residence near Dexter on Tuesday, Aug. 10, 2004, at the age of 44.

He was a member of the Second General Baptist Church in Dexter, a farmer, an agent with County Wide Insurance in Dexter, a member of the Dexter Eagles #4062, Dexter Elks Lodge, Dexter Lions Club, and was the President of Hidden Trails Country Club.

Survivors include one son, Tyler Montgomery of Dexter; one daughter, Kelly Williams of Poplar Bluff; one step-son, Cody Levart of Dexter; his father and step-mother, Hollas and Darlene Montgomery of Dexter; one brother, Carroll Montgomery of Dexter; three sisters, Sharon Helfrich of Columbia, Ill., Joyce Thompson of Linton, Ind., and Sherry Yaeger of Jackson; and one granddaughter, Lexi Williams

Visitation will be held from 5-8 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 11, 2004, at the Rainey-Mathis Funeral Home in Dexter.

Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 12, 2004, in the Rainey-Mathis Funeral Chapel with Rev. Vyron Yount officiating.

Interment will follow in the Dexter Cemetery.
