Dora "Jackie" Mayberry, the daughter of the late John Willie and Rhoda Steward Moore, was born in Stoddard County on May 20, 1916, and died at the Beverly Healthcare Center in Bloomfield on Wednesday, Aug. 18, 2004, at the age of 88.

Mrs. Mayberry had lived in Stoddard County all her life and had lived in Bloomfield for several years. She was of the General Baptist faith.

She was preceded in death by her husband Lee Carol Mayberry in 1992.

Surviving are one sister, Mae Mayberry of Bloomfield.

She was preceded in death by one brother, Fred Moore; and two sisters, Dorthy Metz and Mildred Robertson.

Visitation will be held from 5-8 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 19, 2004, at the Watkins & sons Funeral Home in Dexter.

Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Friday, Aug. 20, 2004, in the Watkins & Sons Chapel in Dexter with Rev. Mike Watkins of Dexter officiating.

Interment will follow in the Gravel Hill Cemetery near Bloomfield with Watkins & Sons Funeral Service of Dexter in charge of arrangements.
